Easter Egg
This form was created with clay, the bottom half on the potters wheel and the top lidded half by hand. Easter is one of my favorite holidays because I get to visit a side of my family I don't see often. That is why I made a piece that reminds me of the things I love.

Lidded Football

My dad is one of the most important and influential people in my life. I wanted to show him how grateful I am for him by making something he can use every day. He really likes watching football and eating pretzel rods, so I decided to make something that incorparates both of those things. Since the lid comes off the top of the football, he can put pretzel rods inside and while he's watching he can reach into that instead of a bag.

ASL Plant

This piece was created by hand and was important to me because I have taken American sign language all my years of high school, and thought doing the sign plant would be different and interesting. I incorporated the green color for the plant itself and brown for the roots and dirt. I also glazed the green hands finger nails different colors representing fruits that grow on plants.

Hotdog Salt and
Pepper Shakers
My grandma has always collected salt and pepper shakers, so for this table wear project I made hot dog salt and pepper shakers for her. Since we used a different clay then usual, Terracotta, It was cool to experiment with a different texture. She also likes hot dogs, and I added ketchup and mustard streaks at the top to add a pop of color.

Surrealist Bust
This project was inspired by sea life. The top of the head represents a jellyfish and the side of the face and shoulder are scales.
